QR gate access

A gate pass that opens in seconds.

VillaSafe gives every guest a QR code gate pass, sent on WhatsApp by the resident who invited them. The guard scans it, sees who it’s for and until when, and lets them in. No calls to the house, no names in a book, no codes that work forever.

01What changes

Fewer calls. A faster gate. Better records.

  • 01

    No more calling the house

The pass already says who invited the guest, so guards stop phoning residents to confirm every visitor.

Something looks off? The guard can still call the resident from the app in one tap.

  • 02

Passes that expire on their own

Each pass works for the times, number of entries and gates the resident chose. Then it stops.

A screenshot of yesterday’s pass opens nothing today.

  • 03

    Nothing for guests to install

Guests receive the pass on WhatsApp as a QR code and a PIN. That’s all they need at the gate.

No smartphone? They read the PIN out and the guard checks it.

  • 04

    Every scan on record

Each entry is logged with the time, gate, guard and host, and the resident is told their guest has arrived.

Find any visit later by name, house or date.

02How it works

Step by step

  1. 1

    Invite

The resident picks who is coming, when, and which gate they can use.

  2. 2

    Share

The pass goes out on WhatsApp: a QR code and a PIN.

  3. 3

    Scan

The guard scans it and sees the guest, the host and the time window.

  4. 4

    Open

Approved. The entry is logged, and a connected barrier lifts by itself.

03Who it’s for

Good for the estate. Easy for everyone at the gate.

  • Control who comes in, and prove it. Every pass traces back to the resident who created it.

  • Invite a guest in a few taps, and stop taking calls from the gate.

  • Scan, check the name, let them in. The app does the remembering.

Questions

Asked and answered

Can a guest pass their QR code on to someone else?

A pass only works for the times, number of entries and gates the resident set, and every scan shows the guard the guest’s name and host. Once it’s used up or expired, it stops working.

Can drivers, cleaners and other regular visitors get a standing pass?

Yes. Residents can create passes that repeat on the days and hours they choose, so regular staff aren’t stopped every morning and the estate still has a record of every visit.

What if a guest doesn’t have a smartphone?

Every pass has a PIN as well as a QR code. The guest reads the PIN out at the gate and the guard checks it in the app.

What happens when there’s no internet at the gate?

The gate keeps working. The guard’s phone holds the passes that can be used at your estate, checks codes with no network, and keeps a record of every entry. When the connection returns, it syncs everything and flags anything that changed in the meantime.
