Guard app
One screen. Every guard gets it.
The VillaSafe guard app turns any phone or tablet at the gatehouse into a pass scanner. Guards scan the guest’s code, check the name and the host, and let them in. When the network drops, it keeps working and syncs every entry later. If a guard can use WhatsApp, they can use this.

01What changes
Simple for guards. Solid for the estate.
- 01
Scan, check, done
The pass shows the guest’s name, host, time window and gate. One tap approves it.
Code won’t scan on a cracked screen? The guard types it in instead.
- 02
Works with no network
The passes for your estate are kept on the phone, so checking never stops.
Entries sync and get re-checked as soon as the connection returns.
- 03
Calls without a notebook
Unsure about a visitor? The guard calls the resident straight from the app.
No more searching a dog-eared notebook for the right number.
- 04
A guide for every task
Ten short videos show guards every task, from setting up the gate phone to handling an emergency.
We also train your guards when we set your estate up.
02How it works

The entry is recorded and the resident is told their guest is in.
03Who it’s for
Good for the estate. Easy for everyone at the gate.
Guards
No more writing names in a book or calling houses all day long.
Heads of security
See each guard’s check-ins and know every gate is running the same way.
Estate managers
The gate works the same at 2 a.m. as at 2 p.m., whoever is on shift.
Questions
Asked and answered
Our guards aren’t tech-savvy. Will they cope?
If a guard can use WhatsApp, they can use VillaSafe. The guard app is one screen: scan the code, check the name, let the guest in. We train your guards when we set you up, and short how-to videos cover every task they’ll do.
What happens when there’s no internet at the gate?
The gate keeps working. The guard’s phone holds the passes that can be used at your estate, checks codes with no network, and keeps a record of every entry. When the connection returns, it syncs everything and flags anything that changed in the meantime.
What about power cuts?
The guard app runs on a phone or tablet, so it keeps working on battery when the power goes. Gate barriers and readers need their own power; we can advise on backup when we visit your gate.
What does the guard do when someone turns up without a pass?
The guard can call the resident straight from the app to confirm before opening the gate, and the visit is recorded either way. No more hunting for phone numbers in a notebook.
